Hey there this is Leslie Kolovich.  Today’s show is awesome!  I talk with Kim Moore co-founder of the SUP Group called Paddle Destin.  She and her husband, Rick created this group to promote the sport of Stand Up Paddling  in the North West Panhandle of Florida.  They really have done a fantastic job including everyone who wants to paddle the beautiful waters of the area no matter what type of board you own.  They travel as a group to as many of the Florida races as possible, and hold several events ranging from training paddles, races, full moon paddles, and of course always eating together.  Their “family” is always open and welcoming to people who want to join in the growing sport of Stand Up Paddling.

It doesn’t matter what board your ride!

Kim talks about the Surf Expo in Orlando that she attended as well as the Cocoa Beach Paddle Classic last week.  Kim tells me about the new trends she saw at expo, and the excitement of seeing paddlers such as Kia Lenny and Conner Baxter.
