Join Leslie Kolovich and co-host Martin Burzynski as they talk with Chris Tilghman owner of Surf Blue Ridge Georgia and The Stand Up Paddle Radio Show’s newest show sponsor.  Chris talks about the South’s SUP Splash Series that launched last year with 5 races and this year increased to 8.  The goal is to appeal to everyone, both elite racers and recreational new paddlers.   Chris is a part of the series at Lake Blue Ridge and is set for September 14- 16. Leslie and Martin both attended last year’s event there and enjoyed the surroundings of the North Georgia Mountains, and the race on the incredible Blue Ridge Lake. This is for sure a destination event. Chris tells us about the plans to make this year’s event even better with bonfire and sunset paddle the night before the race, a great mixer and chill event.  This race follows the WPA guidelines and is the last race for WPA points.
