Leslie Kolovich and co-host Martin Burzynski talk with Ed Naggiar PhD, retired Navy Seal and founder of Stand Up Paddle Boarding For Veterans.
He also runs a program called Human Performance Coach to help civilians, military special forces, and firefighters, with physical, mental and spiritual fitness. Ed was introduced to SUP about 2 years ago, and like all of us became addicted to the sport. Being a Veteran himself, he almost instantly knew this sport could benefit Veterans, especially those returning home with post traumatic syndrome.
Stand Up Paddling has such a therapeutic effect it can help veterans rehabilitate. Ed believes SUP and his Human Performance Coach concepts combined will change a veterans life. They are also working with Speedboard USA who is developing a board for paraplegic veterans. Ed is hoping this SUPV program will become Nation Wide, and is working hard to get funding and support. Hovie SUP Boards have provided some boards, and Sweet Water Wear has provided a logo jersey.
